VORTΞXHQ replaces a sprawling toolbox of single-purpose apps (Postman, Sequel Ace, Mailtrap, Termius, FileZilla, ChatGPT, Linear) with a single coherent workspace. Every module shares one identity, one encrypted vault, one AI fabric, and one real-time cloud sync.

Foundations
- End-to-end encryption — every local file uses AES-256-GCM with an OS keychain-backed master key. Cloud sync wraps item keys with RSA-4096-OAEP per recipient.
- Real-time sync — Reverb WebSocket pushes cluster changes, invites, change requests, and inbox events instantly across devices.
- Multi-platform — macOS (DMG, universal arm64+x64), Windows (NSIS), Linux (AppImage, .deb), iOS, and Android.
- Multi-profile — launch with
--profile=<name>for isolated data, settings, and SMTP port. Perfect for client work or staging vs production. - Single-instance lock per profile — prevents accidental data corruption from parallel windows.
The first 60 seconds
- Sign in (email/password, Google, GitHub, or Apple).
- Run the 4-step setup wizard (Welcome → Generate certs → Trust CA → Done).
- Pick your default startup module in Settings → General.
- Press Cmd+K from anywhere to open the AI command palette.
Tip: Try "Connect to my staging server and tail the laravel.log" as your first prompt — VORTΞXHQ will resolve the host, open SSH, and stream the log into a new tab.
