Discover public API clusters in the Explore marketplace. Star, fork, subscribe, and share your collections.
Explore Panel
The Explore panel is a public marketplace for discovering API clusters shared by other VortexHQ users. Open it from the sidebar or the global navigation.
Browsing & Search
- Search — Type to search clusters by name or description (debounced 350ms)
- Sort — Sort by Stars, Forks, Recent, or Name
- Pagination — Load more results with the “Load More” button
Cluster Cards
Each public cluster is displayed as a card showing:
- Cluster name and description excerpt
- HTTP method badge summary (e.g., 5 GET, 3 POST, 2 DELETE)
- Star and fork counts
- Owner name and avatar
Click a card to open the detail view with the full cluster preview.
Actions
| Action | Description |

| Star / Unstar | Bookmark a cluster — starred clusters are easier to find later |
| Subscribe / Unsubscribe | Get notified when the cluster is updated by its owner |
| Fork | Create your own copy of the cluster in one of your nexuses. A picker lets you choose the destination nexus (or create a new one). The original author is notified. |
| Share Link | Copy a direct link to the public cluster |
Making Your Cluster Public
To share a cluster on Explore:
- The cluster must be in a cloud nexus (synced)
- Right-click the cluster → Share, or toggle visibility in the Cluster Overview
- Set the cluster to PUBLIC. It will appear in Explore for all VortexHQ users.
Public clusters show a PUBLIC badge in the sidebar and overview header. You can see the star/fork count in the cluster’s access info.
Set the cluster back to PRIVATE at any time to remove it from Explore.
Plan Limits
The number of public and private clusters you can create depends on your subscription plan. Check Plans & Pricing for details.
